USA Team Building Transportation

Let’s talk for a moment about team building days in USA, and team building in Queensland in general. As you know, a good team building day can create and strengthen the bonds that make a team successful. After all, what is a team if not a group of people all working together toward a common goal? Everyone must know their own strengths and that of their teammates. The strength of your corporation might be production. The strength of Gab ON Minibus Service is transportation. We rely on you for your specialty and you can rely on us for ours. Just as importantly everyone must know their own weaknesses, and what tasks they must and also cannot delegate. For a worker this means knowing what they can tasks they can tuck into, take the ball and run with. For a boss this very often means knowing what they cannot do on their own, or what they must take upon themselves in order to demonstrate leadership.

Team BuildingTeam building should ideally be an everyday activity within your organization but there should also be special, dedicated times of extra team building. Just as there is always something to do, your team can always be more focused, more efficient, happier and more dedicated to each other and their goals. The exercises undertaken during a team building day in USA, Queensland or anywhere, can be so varied as to be almost infinite. The form of the activity is not important. It is the method that is essential.

The quintessential example of a team building exercise comes to us from the United States Army. A squad is presented with an obstacle: An open walled tower three levels high, each story at least ten feet higher than the last. The support poles are too smooth to climb, the floors too tall for one soldier to reach without help. The squad must reach the top level without ropes, hooks, ladders or stairs. How can they accomplish this? Take a moment to think about it then continue reading.

Team BuildingEvery single squad member is required to help one another or the task cannot be completed. First, the leader of the squad has to come up with the solution: One soldier will support another on his or her shoulders, allowing that soldier to reach level two. That will be repeated until there are two soldiers on level two who can then pull other soldiers up. Once half or more the squad is on level two the process can, with courage, be repeated. Complicating factors can be added if the obstacle course chief wants to test the squad: Level two must be completed by hanging upside down, for example. The point is that the squad is nothing without one another but can accomplish the seemingly impossible together. Of course you don’t have to have your team risk injury to show how they are stronger together than apart. There are tons of fun team building exercise parks around Queensland and Gab ON Minibus Service is happy to transport you to any of them.
